Picture |
The Picture menu cell in the Tools module allows you to view a rendered image or a sequence of rendered images, or allows you to get information about the image or image sequence.
File
The name of the currently selected picture frame or sequence.
Frame
Sets the current frame number.
Show Picture/Show Picture (Keep Aspect)
Displays the selected picture file (.pic format). If the picture is not part of a sequence, select its file name or icon and click Display (or double-click it).
If the picture is part of a sequence, select its file name or icon, then select a Frame number with the frame slider, and click Display (or double-click the sequence file name or icon.
The Show Picture (keep aspect) option displays the selected picture file with respect to its pixel ratio so that it can be seen in the proper proportion.
Note:
This option is for an image rendered with a pixel ratio other than 1. Images rendered for the AbekasŪ or VideoFramer(TM), for example, would require a different value.Show Sequence/Show Sequence (Keep Aspect)
Displays the selected sequence of picture files. Select the file name or icon for the sequence, then select a starting frame with the Frame slider, and click Display (or double-click the sequences file name or icon).
The Show Sequence (keep aspect) option displays the selected sequence of picture files with respect to their pixel ratio so that they can be seen in the proper proportion.
Information
Displays information about the selected picture file in the Picture Info information box. Select the desired picture's sequence file name or icon, then click Display (or double-click the file name or icon), and a Picture Info information box is displayed containing the following information:
- File name: The picture path name.
- Comment: Software name with which the picture was rendered.
- Version: Software version with which the picture was rendered.
- Width: Width resolution in pixels.
- Height: Height resolution in pixels.
- Fields: Even or odd video fields or full frame.
- Pixel ratio: The pixel ratio - 1 is square pixel.
- Icon: Shows that an icon can be generated for this picture.
- Packet 1, Packet 2, Packet 3, Packet 4: How the picture was coded in the file.
Display
Displays the picture, the sequence, or the information, depending on which Show or Information option you selected.
Use Icons
Displays pictures by icon instead of file name in the scroll box.
