FlipBook

The FlipBook menu cell in the Tools module lets you display an animation sequence on the screen, similar to a flipbook used in traditional animation. You need to have rendered an image sequence before you can use this menu cell.

When you choose the FlipBook menu cell. The FlipBook dialogue box is displayed.

Parameters

Sequence Name

The sequence file name you have selected.

Use Icons

Displays icons instead of file names in the scroll box.

Field

Lets you display a field-rendered image sequence. You can choose from full frame, even field dominance, or odd field dominance.

Do Frames/To/Step

Sets the start frame, end frame, and the increment step.

Number of Frames per Second

Sets playback speed: 30 frames per second is the default NTSC standard.

Horizontal Zooming Factor

Enlarges the displayed image horizontally by the factor set.

Vertical Zooming Factor

Enlarges the displayed image vertically by the factor set.
