Selected Elements

The Save->Selected Elements command is available in all modules except Tools. It allows you to save selected elements of your scene in their appropriate chapter.

This command automatically saves the current element under its existing name. If you want to change the element's name, you must do so using the Info->Selection or Info->Elements command before choosing Save->Selected Elements.

Tip:

Remember that the camera's interest or spotlight's interest must be selected before choosing Save->Selected Elements->Cameras or Lights.

Procedure

1. Choose the Save->Selected Elements command and the desired subcommand.
   
   The appropriate Save Selected dialogue box is displayed.
   
2. Click Save to save the element in the appropriate chapter in the current database, or click Db List to open a browser and select a different database.
