Rect Zoom

The Camera->Rect Zoom command is available in all modules except Tools. It allows you to define a rectangular area that becomes the new magnification in the parallel projection windows (Front, Right, Top, and Ortho). Rectangular zoom in magnifies what is inside the rectangle. Rectangular zoom out puts the current display inside the defined rectangle.

Procedure

1. Choose the Camera->Rect Zoom command.
2. Define a rectangle in one of the parallel projection windows by holding the left mouse button for rect zoom in, or the right mouse button for rect zoom out, and dragging the mouse diagonally.

The rectangle zoom can also be activated by pressing the Shift-z Supra key combination and dragging the mouse. The currently activated command is put on hold until the key is released.
