FCRVSELECT

3D Texture Global/Local

The FcrvSelect->3D Texture Global/Local command in the Motion module displays the function curves for animated parameters of the current global or local 3D texture for a selected object or the current material.

See 3D Textures of the Defining Materials and Textures User's Guide for more information about using 3D textures at the global and local levels.

For more information on all tasks related to editing function curves, see the Editing Function Curves section of the Animating User's Guide.

Procedure

  1. Select an object or its current material.
  2. Choose the FcrvSelect->3D Texture Global/Local command.

The Fcurve window and the specified function curve(s) appears.

All

Displays all function curves available for the current 3D texture.

Spacing

Displays the spacing function curve for the current texture. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 10.

Angle

Displays the angle function curve for the current texture. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 45 degrees.

Strength

Displays the strength function curve for the current texture. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 20.

Power

Displays the power function curve for the current texture. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from -2 to 20.

Blending

Displays the function curve for the overall blending of the current texture with the selected object's material. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 1.

Ambient

Displays the function curve for the current texture's visibility on the ambient area of illumination on the selected object's material. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 1.

Diffuse

Displays the function curve for the current texture's brightness on the diffuse area of illumination on the selected object's material. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 1.

Specular

Displays the function curve for the current texture's brightness on the specular area of illumination on the selected object's material. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 1.

Reflectivity

Displays the reflectivity function curve for the current texture. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 1.

Transparency

Displays the transparency function curve for the current texture. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 1.

Roughness

Displays the function curve for the roughness of the current texture. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from -20 to 20.

Factor 2 to 4

Displays the selected colour interpolation factor function curve for the current texture. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window normally range from 0 to 1.

Colour 1 to 5

Displays the selected colour map function curve for the current texture. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 1.

Scaling

Displays the scale function curves. There are three function curves, one for each axis. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from - to .

Rotation

Displays the rotation function curves. There are three function curves, one for each axis. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from 0 to 360 degrees.

Translation

Displays the translation function curves. There are three function curves, one for each axis. The values on the vertical axis of the Fcurve window range from - to .
