EFFECTS |
HrcAnimShrinkWrap |
The Effects->HrcAnimShrinkWrap command in the Motion module is the animated version of Deformation->HrcShrinkWrap in the Model module. These effects allow you to "shrinkwrap" an entire hierarchy (composed of curves, polygon meshes, patches, or NURBS surfaces) to conform to the surface of a polygon mesh or patch object.
- The target object: this is the polygon mesh or patch object toward which the points "shrink." You cannot use a NURBS object as a target object.
- The outer wrapper hierarchy: the points of the outer wrapper model "shrink" until they reach the target object. The outer wrapper model can be a polygon mesh, curve, patch, or NURBS surface.
- The inner wrapper hierarchy: this model must have the same number of points as the outer wrapper model because the points of the outer wrapper move toward the corresponding points of the inner wrapper. This determines the direction of "shrinking" for each point of the outer wrapper.
Note:
Both the inner and outer hierarchies should have the same number of models and points.Any of the models can be animated.
For the HrcAnimShrinkWrap effect to work, the inner and outer wrapper models must have their own separate animation files.
The parameters are the same as for the Deformation->ShrinkWrap command's dialogue box
Next, Previous, Delete, Key, and Frame
For the animated effects, Next advances to the next keyframe, Previous goes back to the previous keyframe, Delete removes a keyframe, and Key sets a keyframe at the frame you specify in the Frame text box. These controls are available only after you have set the initial parameters in the dialogue box and clicked Ok. To return to the dialogue box and edit keyframes for the effect, select the effect icon and choose the Effects->Edit Parameters command in the Motion module.
