Alignment

The Effect->Alignment command in the Model module allows you to align objects to another object (designated as the target object). You can align objects from their centres, or by using their bounding boxes as reference.

Procedure

  1. Select one or more objects to be aligned. Use the Multi menu cell if selecting multiple objects.
  2. Choose the Effect->Alignment command.

    The Alignment dialogue box is displayed.

  3. Select the direction and the relationship of the selected object(s) to the target.
  4. Click Ok to accept the settings or Cancel to exit the dialogue box.
  5. Click the object to be used as a target.
