Introduction

This option in the window menu lets you "freeze" a window so that it is not refreshed. This is usually done so that the display in the remaining active windows is updated more quickly.

There are two ways to freeze a window: select the Freeze option (this option) to freeze the window or right-click the window title. The window title is dimmed when the window is frozen.
