SKELETON

Toggle Effector Rotation

The Skeleton->Toggle Effector Rotation command in the Actor module allows you to toggle the effector's orientation between using global or local coordinates. For example, if you assign a foot as the child of an effector, but you want it to remain parallel to the floor, you can toggle the rotation constraint so that the effector is oriented according to global coordinates.

Procedure

  1. Select the chain's effector.
  2. Choose the Skeleton->Toggle Effector Rotation command to toggle the effector's rotation constraint.

This command also works for a branch-selected hierarchy: in this case, every selected effector's rotation constraint is toggled.
